The Villain

This film serves as a Side-splitting homage to the classic dynamics of the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote cartoons, delivering a delightful blend of slapstick and western humor. The hilarity unfolds as the rugged outlaw, Cactus Jack Slade, makes an attempt to rob a bank, wielding nothing but his dubious “bank robber’s guide” as a plan of attack. The attempt itself turns into a comical disaster when he finds himself face-to-face with a drunken bank teller after hours, culminating in an explosion that leaves the bank in ruins!

Enter banker Avery Simpson, who, despite the disastrous state of his establishment, zests for the cash that once resided within its walls. He hatches a plan that involves hiring the clumsy yet determined Cactus Jack to retrieve the money. Meanwhile, Parody Jones, a man who clearly understands the value of trust, ensures that his daughter Charming, portrayed by the lovely Ann-Margret, is sent to reclaim her inheritance from this shattered financial institution. Charming, endowed with a penchant for handsome men, becomes the center of attention as she encounters her escort, Handsome Stranger, who owes a favor to Parody.

As the adventure progresses, Helmed by the ever-comedic Mel Tillis, who plays the bumbling telegraph operator, the journey back to the Jones family homestead reveals itself to be far more than a simple money run. Charming and Handsome Stranger embark on a mishap-laden journey, where they are constantly thwarted by the resourceful yet foolish antics of Cactus Jack, whose comedic timing would make you swear he was inspired by the chaotic pursuits of cartoonish characters.

It doesn’t stop there; they encounter Chief Nervous Elk, adding another layer of ridiculousness to an already vibrant escapade.
