After a fierce battle, Bud manages to outsmart and kill Audrey, the powerful Uber vampire, by using a silver wire trick that she falls victim to due to her vulnerability to silver. Audrey’s plans for vampire world domination are thwarted when Bud kills her before she can execute them. In the chaos, it’s revealed that Seth, who was turned into a vampire by Audrey, survives being decapitated — a feat made possible because he inherits Audrey’s vampiric abilities, making him nearly immortal. His survival underscores that Audrey’s vampiric power makes her and her followers difficult to kill with traditional methods.

Meanwhile, Big John sacrifices himself to cover everyone else, holding off Audrey’s vampire army with a UV bomb that destroys her and her minions, confirming his survival in a mysterious way that’s left unexplained—possibly using a special weapon that can kill vampires without destroying himself. With Audrey defeated and her plans foiled, Bud regains his family and leaves with enough vampire fangs to keep them safe.
