Clara and Samantha decide to spend Christmas break at Blackvale Academy along with their teacher Rose and her boyfriend Jimmy. This peaceful setting sets the stage for the terror that is about to unfold.

A group of murderers, Jude, Maisie, Grant, and Doug, have been terrorizing nearby towns with a series of ritualistic murders. The chilling accounts of their killings fuel an atmosphere of tension and fear around the academy.

After a chance encounter with a police officer, the murderers find refuge at Blackvale Academy. In a shocking turn of events, they capture Rose, Clara, and Samantha, killing Jimmy in the process.

The group intends to finish a demon summoning ritual at Blackvale by slaughtering Rose. However, they grow frustrated and confused when the promised demon fails to materialize.

Maisie ventures into the basement with Jude to investigate the spellbook from which she learned about the ritual. There, she realizes that she only possesses part of the spell, which requires a final sacrifice from someone unpure.

Clara discovers her latent demonic powers as she compels Grant to free Samantha from captivity. This act reveals Clara's true nature and hints at her connection to the unfolding events.

With Clara's help, Samantha manages to flee to a security station to call the police. However, her bond with Clara compels her to return, risking her safety to save her friend.

Maisie wakes to find herself, Jude, and Grant imprisoned without their clothes by Clara. In a cruel twist, Clara reveals her plan to complete the ritual by forcing them to make personal sacrifices.
