On a snowy Christmas Eve, in the Alpha Kappa Gamma sorority house, the evening begins innocently as Lauren prepares to change into her pajamas. Meanwhile, Clair Crosby is writing a card to her half-sister, Leigh, when she hears an unsettling noise from her closet. Upon checking, she finds only clothes, but soon her fountain pen goes missing. Tragedy strikes when a mysterious figure surprises her, wrapping a bag around her head and stabbing her in the eye with her own pen.

Just a short distance away in a mental institution, Billy Lenz is confined within his cell, decorated for the holidays. As he receives his Christmas dinner, he engages in a sinister game with the security guard, ultimately escaping by delivering a shocking gift wrapped in newspaper—bearing the ominous message, “I’ll be home for Christmas.” As the guard investigates, he meets his gruesome end at the hands of Billy, who steals a Santa costume, leaving chaos in his wake.
