The Queen’s Corgi

Rex enjoys the life of luxury as Queen Elizabeth II's favourite corgi, living in Buckingham Palace with three other corgis. He basks in pampered routines while navigating the social pecking order of the palace dogs.

During U.S. President Donald Trump's visit to the palace, the Queen suggests that one of her corgis could be a suitable mate for Mitzi. Rex is chosen as the candidate, though he clearly resents being put in that position.

Rex evades the mating plan, and chaos erupts when he accidentally bites Trump in the dining hall. The incident enrages the Queen and creates a royal scandal that tests Rex's loyalty to the crown.

Ashamed of embarrassing the Queen, Rex looks for reassurance from the palace dogs. Charlie consoles him, though jealousy over Rex's status hints at trouble ahead.

Charlie lures Rex with the false claim that the Pope is seeking dogs, disposes of Rex's collar, and guides him toward a stream with the intent to drown him. The act reveals Charlie's jealousy and willingness to go to extreme lengths.

A kind man rescues Rex and takes him to a dog shelter. Initially, Rex's mannerisms alienate the other dogs, but he slowly makes friends.

At the shelter, Rex bonds with a young Saluki named Wanda and slowly falls in love with her. Wanda is wary at first but gradually reciprocates his feelings.

Tyson, a former fighting dog who also loves Wanda, runs the kennel and becomes their rival. Rex convinces the other dogs to join forces to stand up to Tyson and protect Wanda.

Rex returns to the palace with Wanda and the other dogs, but the guards refuse to recognize him, believing him dead. Charlie has convinced the Queen that Rex was killed by foxes, sowing doubt about Rex's place as Top Dog.

Rex sneaks back into the palace as Charlie attempts to block his return to Top Dog. Charlie traps Rex and Wanda in a room and sets it on fire, forcing a dangerous escape.

Wanda escapes the blaze and rallies their canine friends to rescue Rex. The group works together to free Rex and defend their bond against Charlie's schemes.

The Queen discovers Rex alive and is overjoyed, ready to restore him to Top Dog. However, Rex refuses the rank, valuing his love for Wanda more than status.

Charlie rises to Top Dog but is forced to mate with Mitzi and move to America as part of the resolution. The palace shifts away from Rex's era and marks a new order.

Rex chooses love over throne and remains at the palace with Wanda and their friends. He enjoys a content life alongside the dogs who stood by him through the trials.
