The Punisher

Bobby Saint and Mickey Duka meet with European arms dealer Otto Krieg at the seaport in Tampa, Florida. Their meeting rapidly deteriorates when the FBI intervenes, resulting in a chaotic shootout.

During the chaos of the shootout, Bobby Saint is killed, leaving Mickey Duka apprehended by law enforcement. The FBI's intervention alters the course of many lives, especially for Frank Castle, who was undercover.

The man they believed to be Otto Krieg is actually Frank Castle, an undercover FBI agent. This realization occurs amidst the chaos, as Frank grapples with the fallout of Bobby's death.

Following the traumatic events in Tampa, Frank Castle decides to retire from the FBI. He seeks solace by attending a family reunion at his father's ocean-side home in Aguadilla Bay, Puerto Rico.

Tampa crime lord Howard Saint, enraged by the loss of his son Bobby, seeks revenge against Frank Castle. He enlists the help of his right-hand man, Quentin Glass, who begins to gather intel on Frank.

During Frank's family reunion, tragedy strikes as gunmen, including Glass and John's men, attack Frank's relatives. Despite Frank and his father attempting to fight back, they suffer immense losses.

Amidst the gunfire, Frank's father is killed, and Frank's wife and son are viciously murdered by John Saint. These events further fuel Frank's thirst for vengeance.

After being severely injured by a gunshot and an explosive later orchestrated by Glass, Frank is left for dead. A local fisherman, Candelaria, finds and saves him, allowing him to recuperate.

Once he has regained his strength, Frank returns to Tampa and seeks refuge in an old tenement with three outcasts. Here, he begins formulating his plans for revenge.

In his quest for revenge, Frank captures Mickey Duka, who then becomes an unexpected ally after they realize they share a common enemy. Together, they begin to plot against the Saints.

Frank arrogantly continues his quest for vengeance by disrupting Howard's money-laundering schemes. He also severs ties with the Cuban Toro Brothers in a bid to dismantle the crime network.

As Howard learns that Frank is alive, he sends assassins to eliminate him. The first of these, guitarist Harry Heck, is swiftly dispatched by Frank in a brutal confrontation.

Frank faces his second assassin, 'the Russian', in a fierce battle that tests his strength. Using cunning, Frank ultimately gains the upper hand and kills the formidable opponent.

With the help of his new friends, Frank prepares for the final confrontation against Howard and his gang. Despite the numerous challenges and threats, the group stands firm in their resolve.

In a climactic showdown at Howard's nightclub, Frank faces off against Howard and his crew. Ultimately, Frank reveals the truth about Howard's trusted aides before orchestrating Howard's spectacular demise.

After the violent confrontations, Frank contemplates his life and purpose in solitude. Inspired by a vision of his wife, he resolves to continue his mission against evil, taking on the mantle of the Punisher.
