The Last Witch Hunter

Warrior Kaulder embarks on a relentless quest to hunt down witches, driven by a deep sorrow stemming from the loss of his wife, Helena, and daughter, Elizabeth. He is supported by his loyal allies, the Axe and Cross, as they navigate the perilous world of witchcraft.

As Kaulder and the Axe and Cross traverse a dense forest, they encounter a swarm of formidable witches. A fierce combat ensues, during which Kaulder confronts the Witch Queen, leading to a climactic showdown that tests his strength and resolve.

During an intense battle with the Witch Queen, Kaulder is thrown into a fiery pit inside a giant tree. He fights back with a blazing sword, defeating the Queen, but she curses him with immortality, dooming him to a life filled with endless suffering.

Fast forward 800 years to 2015, where Kaulder is seen aboard a plane. There, he meets Bronwyn, a young witch with valuable weather runes that he desperately needs to control the furious storm outside.

In New York City, Kaulder continues his mission as a witch hunter, now working with the aging Dolan the 36th. His successor, the ambitious Dolan the 37th, seeks to learn about Kaulder's tumultuous past and experience the witch hunts firsthand.

The 37th Dolan delivers grave news to Kaulder regarding the sudden death of Dolan the 36th. Following a memorial service held by the Axe and Cross, he expresses a strong desire to partner with Kaulder, recalling past incidents involving the murder of his parents by witches.

After discovering evidence of dark curses in Dolan the 36th's apartment, Kaulder and the 37th decide to investigate further. They visit Max Schlesinger’s bakery, uncovering connections to the witches and dark forces at work.

Kaulder learns about a warlock named Ellic, who is entangled with witches. This revelation leads to a confrontation with a witch council led by Glaeser, highlighting the intrigue and danger surrounding their investigation.

Realizing that Dolan the 36th is under a curse and not truly dead, Kaulder discovers more clues that lead him to seek the truth through magic. He encounters a witch bar owned by Chloe, a powerful Dreamwalker.

At Chloe's bar, Kaulder requests a memory spell, but chaos erupts as warlock Belial intervenes, igniting the bar in flames. This intense altercation pushes Kaulder into a tumultuous journey of recollection and revelation.

Chloe helps Kaulder retrieve painful memories, leading to a devastating realization: the heart of the Witch Queen remains within him, serving as a painful reminder of his immortality and endless suffering. This truth shakes his understanding of his allies.

Using Ellic as a vessel, the Witch Queen is resurrected, unleashing chaos in the city. As Kaulder faces this new threat, he must balance the turmoil of his past with the urgent need to protect humanity.
