The File of the Golden Goose

Pete Novak, Yul Brynner, is a top United States Secret Service agent who is drawn into a global hunt after a trail of counterfeit hundred-dollar bills appears in several major cities around the world. He understands this assignment demands his full focus, so he ends his relationship with his girlfriend to devote himself to the case.

An early, brutal setback changes everything: hoodlums speed by his home and fire at him in an ambush. He fights them off and manages to kill them, only to learn that the attackers had been tipped off by someone inside the service, and that his ex-girlfriend was fatally shot in the crossfire.
