She shows a nurturing side, caring for Kate and Jack, hinting she might have had children of her own or longs for a family of her own. As Kate embraces her new blended family—accepting Bob and finding peace with her dad’s memory—she learns that love and family are about who you share your moments with, not just where you celebrate.
