Rudolph and Frosty’s Christmas in July

Rudolph's nose loses its glow when he uses his power for selfish or evil purposes. Lady Boreal enchanted his nose with the last of her magic, and it only shines when used for good. Winterbolt manipulates Rudolph into a situation where he appears to be stealing from the circus, which would be an act of evil, causing his protective glow to fade.

Winterbolt learns that Rudolph's nose is vulnerable if used for evil. He recruits Scratcher, a jealous reindeer who was fired when Rudolph joined Santa's team, and teams up with Sam Spangles to frame Rudolph at the circus. By making Rudolph appear to steal money, they hope to corrupt his spirit and strip away his protective magic.

Frosty and his family wear magical amulets given by Winterbolt that prevent them from melting, but the protection only lasts until the final firework fades on the Fourth of July. When Winterbolt is defeated and his magic fades, the amulets lose power and Frosty's family melts. They are later revived by Jack Frost.

Winterbolt's amulets were a false gift with a hidden deadline.

Jack Frost brings Frosty and his family back to life. Big Ben, Rudolph's old friend, arrives with Jack Frost to rescue them. Jack Frost breathes life back into the snow family, restoring them after their temporary death.

Winterbolt promises to help Rudolph if Frosty gives him his hat, but his true intention is to use the hat to create an army of evil snowmen. The hat is a powerful magical object that Winterbolt can exploit to strengthen his forces against the North Pole.

Winterbolt is defeated when Lilly Loraine uses her iron pistols to break his magical scepter during his attack on the circus. Breaking the scepter destroys his power and transforms him into a tree, ending his reign of terror over the North Pole.

Rudolph decides to stay at the Circus by the Sea to help the performers pay off their debts and restore the show after Sam Spangles' scheme was foiled. He leads a flying circus parade with the animals, using Santa's magic to help them take flight and save the circus financially.

Sam Spangles is arrested by Officer Kelly after his scheme to buy the circus through fraudulent means is exposed. The police officer also clears Rudolph's name, returns Frosty's hat, and recovers the stolen circus money, allowing the circus to recover financially.

Scratcher is a jealous reindeer who was fired from Santa's team when Rudolph joined. He harbors resentment toward Rudolph and sees Winterbolt's plan as an opportunity for revenge. Winterbolt exploits these feelings to recruit him for the scheme to frame Rudolph.

Winterbolt creates a powerful blizzard specifically designed to prevent Santa and Mrs. Claus from arriving on time. The storm delays their rescue mission, creating tension as the Fourth of July fireworks approach and the magical amulets begin to lose their power.

Lady Boreal, the Queen of the Northern Lights, transferred the last of her magical power into Rudolph's nose when he was born. This enchantment makes his nose glow to stop evil and protect his friends, but only when used for good purposes.

Winterbolt launches a final assault on the circus because that's where Rudolph and the heroes have gathered. He hopes to destroy them all in one strike and take control of the North Pole. The circus becomes the battlefield for the story's climactic confrontation.
