In the picturesque countryside of Northeastern Connecticut’s Sterling, 10-year-old Arthur Montgomery lives a serene life with his loving grandmother, Daisy. Residing in a modest farmhouse situated along a winding dirt road, Arthur feels the absence of his parents who are constantly on the hunt for jobs elsewhere. In their place, Daisy fills the void with enchanting stories about her late husband, Archibald, and his remarkable adventures in Africa. Among these tales, Arthur becomes particularly fascinated with the princess, Selenia, from the tales of the towering Bogo Matassalai and the tiny Minimoys.

However, the tranquility of their lives is shattered when Ernest Davido, a ruthless developer, threatens to evict them unless they come up with an astonishing sum of money within a mere two days. Driven by desperation, Arthur sets off on a daring quest to uncover his grandfather’s hidden treasures to save their home.

As Arthur delves into the enigmatic legacy of Archibald, he stumbles upon a series of puzzling clues that lead him to the enchanted realm of the Minimoys. Astonishingly, he is shrunk down to their size by the Bogo Matassalai, who guard the rubies concealed within Archibald’s garden. Meanwhile, the Minimoys find themselves under the tyrannical rule of Maltazard, a once-heroic figure now transformed into a villain, whose power is reinforced by a sinister alliance with a malevolent creature known as a weevil and its offspring, Darkos.

Throughout his journey in this magical world, Arthur learns that he is destined for greatness. Inspired by the legendary courage of his namesake, he wields a mythical sword to combat Maltazard’s forces. Guided by Sifrat, the kind-hearted ruler of the Minimoys, Arthur, Selenia, and her brother Betameche undertake a perilous journey to Necropolis, where they withstand numerous attacks from Maltazard’s minions. In a show of trust and affection, Selenia bestows upon Arthur her royal favor, designating him as her expected husband and potential successor.

Upon reaching Necropolis, the trio falls into the clutches of Maltazard, who is incensed to discover that Selenia has already chosen Arthur as her mate. In a surprising turn of events, Archibald makes a dramatic appearance, revealed to be a Minimoy himself. Together with Arthur, the two hatch a daring plan to escape just in the nick of time.

With only moments left before Maltazard can unleash a devastating flood upon the Minimoys, Arthur teams up with Mino, a loyal advisor’s long-lost son, to divert the impending disaster towards Necropolis. This audacious act compels Maltazard to flee his dark domain, abandoning his corrupted son and allowing the coveted rubies to rise to the surface. Archibald settles the imminent debt by presenting Davido with one of the precious stones, but is subsequently seized by the Bogo Matassalai for attempting to claim the remaining treasures.

As this enchanting saga draws to a close, Arthur turns to Selenia, asking her to wait for his return. She consents, leaving a promise that hangs delicately in the air, full of hope and anticipation.
