In the serene woods of South Dakota, two friends, Kevin O'Connor and Bobby Green, set out for what seems like an ordinary walk home. Their camaraderie is evident as they navigate through the tranquil landscape, unaware of the horrors that await them.

Their mundane journey swiftly transforms into a nightmare when they are abruptly captured by an unknown menace. Separated in their terrifying circumstances, Kevin is taken away to an undisclosed location while Bobby is cruelly confined in the trunk of a car.

In a moment when their captors momentarily slip up, Bobby manages to escape from the trunk. Despite the stark fear that grips him, something compels him to return toward the grim house from which he hears Kevin's desperate screams.
