In the serene yet haunting landscape of South Dakota's woods, two steadfast friends, Kevin O'Connor and Bobby Green, set out on what begins as an ordinary walk home. In a shocking twist, their innocent journey takes a dark turn when they are abruptly captured by an unknown menace, engulfing them in a nightmare.
As they find themselves ensnared in a perilous situation, Kevin is taken away to an unknown fate, while Bobby is cruelly stuffed into the trunk of a car. With a momentary lapse in the captors' vigilance, Bobby seizes his chance to escape.
