In a 16th‑century European town, a ruling family receives a prophecy that if twin boys are born, the younger will kill the elder. When the popular baron has twins, the older brother becomes selfish and inherits the castle. Fearing the prophecy, he murders his returning younger sibling, hides the body in the sealed “black room,” and assumes his brother’s identity to escape the fate and secure a noblewoman’s hand.
