Akhil, who runs a call cab service, meets Dr. Srivalli (Sri) and they quickly fall in love. Their budding romance becomes a central thread of the story.

Sonu, a tech-savvy robber who once worked for Sri's father as a car mechanic, adopts Siri as his sister and brings her into his home after his father's death in a car crash. Siri's presence adds a complicated dynamic to Sonu’s world.

As Sri's feelings for Akhil deepen, Sonu asks Siri to end their relationship. Siri goes to Akhil's house to learn why Sonu hates him, and Akhil explains their turbulent past: they were best friends who turned to bank robberies to pay for Sasha's surgery, and Sasha loved Akhil.

Sasha, Sonu's sister who loved Akhil, dies on the road in an apparent accident; the two men are devastated and blame each other. The tragedy drives a wedge between them, and Akhil retreats toward a normal life.

John Abraham's attempt to draw Sonu ends with him sketching Akhil instead, drawing the police's attention. Akhil is arrested after resembling a suspect in a surveillance video, and the footage hints that Sasha was murdered.

Akhil tells the cops he is not in the video, and Abraham defends him, insisting Akhil is not a thief.

Sonu follows Akhil to the Biker's Club and they discover that Mama, the club owner, was behind the robberies and Sasha's death; Sasha had learned that Mama's men were orchestrating the diamond heists.

The goons at the club kill Sasha as she tries to escape; Sonu apologizes to Akhil for their past and the two reconcile, choosing to face Mama together.

Mama kidnaps Siri and forces Akhil and Sonu to rob the same diamonds they were to steal in Mumbai. The duo carries out the plan by blowing up the truck, stealing the diamonds, and tumbling into the sea.

Police chase ensues on motorboats as the diamonds are recovered. A cop shoots Sonu, who falls into the ocean but survives thanks to a bulletproof vest; Akhil pushes on toward Mama's place to settle the score.

Akhil and Sonu locate Siri at Mama's lair; Sonu saves her from Mama’s clutches, and the two men eliminate Mama's guards and reclaim the diamonds.

Abraham finally draws Sonu's portrait, but the police doubt him and the captain is transferred. In a final gesture, Akhil and Sonu give Abraham a diamond and ask him to draw a portrait of Akhil and Siri.
