Shikari

Vijandra is the richest business tycoon in Cape Town. His sister Rajeshwari, wife Suman, and his mother are his closest relatives, and his marital life with Suman is strained, with little genuine affection between them. The family backdrop sets the stage for intrigue and competition.

A business rival emerges in Mahendra Pratap Singhania, an Indian spice magnate seeking to expand into South Africa. Unknown to Vijandra, Mahendra is actually Om Srivastav with a bigger, hidden agenda. Vijandra is wary but sees Mahendra's entry as a tool for his own growth.

Vijandra and Mahendra strike a deal that leads to an invitation for a celebratory gathering at a house in the forest. The forest setting promises privacy and spectacle, perfect for a decisive moment. The stage is set for Om to reveal his true colors.

During the celebration, Om unmasks himself, confirming Vijandra's recognition of him. He murders Vijandra and covers up the crime to mislead investigators. This brutal act marks the turning point of the plot.

Om attends Vijandra's funeral, presenting a false friendship tale by claiming they met in India. Rajeshwari and Suman sense something is off, fueling suspicion and fear. The deception further unsettles the family.

Rajeshwari becomes suspicious of Om while Suman grows uneasy about the new dynamic. Suman reveals to Vijandra's mother that she and Om were lovers, and that her father forced her to marry Vijandra. This backstory complicates loyalties and motives.

Suman explains she was asked to be with Om, but she stayed loyal to Vijandra instead. Vijandra repeats his harsh notion that Suman is a gold-digger, deepening the rift. The family tension intensifies the cat-and-mouse play.

Om traps Rajeshwari by throwing her into a dry well and escapes in his car. Suman searches for Rajeshwari at Om's place, with Om feigning ignorance and misdirecting them. The peril deepens as the truth edges closer to exposure.

Zafrani arrives to rescue Rajeshwari, bringing a glimmer of hope. Rajeshwari seeks Om again, while Suman and Rajeshwari piece together Om's motives. The hunt for Om intensifies as the net tightens around him.

Om reveals his motive: Vijandra had attacked Om, killed his father, and raped his sisters, driving them to suicide. He confesses to Suman, and Rajeshwari realizes Suman's innocence. The revelation reframes earlier actions as revenge.

Zafrani arrives with the police, but Om drives his car into a valley to avoid capture after his work is done. The women are rescued but left distraught by the ordeal. The story ends with tragedy and lingering trauma for the survivors.
