Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire

In the vibrant city of Khansaar during 1985, two inseparable friends, Deva and Vardha, navigate a tumultuous atmosphere under a monarchical regime led by Raja Mannar. Their bond is tested as external forces begin to threaten their safety and the stability of their lives.

The Shouryaanga tribe faces a horrific fate at the hands of Raja Mannar, resulting in widespread violence and instability. This brutal event marks a pivotal moment in Deva's life, leading to irreversible changes for him and his family.

When a violent mob targets Deva's home, Vardha heroically intervenes to protect him and his mother. This selfless act saves their lives but also deepens the bond of friendship and loyalty between the two young men.

As Deva is forced to leave Khansaar, he makes a heartfelt promise to return whenever Vardha calls upon him. Unbeknownst to him, this pledge will lead to unforeseen challenges and a battle against fate.

In 2017, Krishnakanth's daughter Aadhya returns from New York, unknowingly setting off a string of manipulative plots from her father's enemies. Her quest for answers about her mother’s death becomes a catalyst for unfolding drama.

Krishnakanth, grappling with his own demons, enlists the help of his loyal confidant Bilal to protect Aadhya. Their plan centers on keeping her hidden in Deva's modest home in Tinsukia, Assam, as tensions begin to rise.

Aadhya takes a job as an English teacher at a local school, coincidentally where Deva's mother is the headmaster. This seemingly innocent position opens the door to larger conspiracies and dangers lurking nearby.

As Deva's mother grows concerned for Aadhya's safety, she devises a plan for their escape. However, their efforts are thwarted when they are unexpectedly kidnapped by a convoy bearing the ominous Khansaar insignia.

Hearing his mother's call for help, Deva quickly intervenes and takes charge of the kidnapping convoy. This courageous act draws the attention of Vardha and Radha, introducing dangerous rivalries into the mix.

In the wake of the rescue, Radha unveils her manipulative intentions, aiming to leverage Deva and Vardha for her plans. This revelation sets the stage for a complex conflict driven by past grievances and present alliances.

Following the tension-filled rescue, Bilal shares captivating accounts of Khansaar's rich history with Aadhya. This exchange deepens their connection and shows the intertwining fates of the characters reinventing their legacies.

Moving back in time to the early 13th century, the Manners, Shouryaangas, and Ghaniyaars unite, claiming dominance over Khansaar. This period marks the foundation of a complex legacy that would echo through generations, leading to future conflicts.

Post-1947, following the decision of Shiva Mannar to assert autonomy, Khansaar witnesses significant territorial fragmentation. This decision catalyzed a series of power struggles that would define the region's fate for decades to come.

With the demise of Shiva Mannar in 1985, Khansaar plunges into chaos as Raja Mannar brutally murders Dhaara, the chief of the Shouryaanga tribe. This treachery solidifies Raja Mannar’s dominance and shifts the balance of power amid prevailing hostilities.

In 2010, Vardha seeks refuge in Bharuch while tensions boil over, revealing the urgency for alliances. Amidst betrayal and vengeance, Deva is recognized as a rightful heir, becoming a symbol of hope and resistance against the reigning powers.
