Athena is visited by her brother Phoebus Abel, who vows to annihilate humanity as punishment, echoing ancient rites. He dismisses Seiya and the Bronze Saints, installing three Corona Saints—Atlas, Jaow, Berenike—and reviving five Gold Saints including Saga and Deathmask. Defying him, Athena is cast into Elysion, and the Bronze Saints storm the Sanctuary to defeat Abel.
