Seiya unknowingly unleashes a mysterious blue light during his fight with Cassios in the underground ring. This blue light represents his latent Cosmo ability, a mystical energy drawn from the stars that only the strongest warriors can manifest. Kido recognizes this as a sign that Seiya has tremendous potential as a Knight, which is why he becomes the primary target for Guraad's recruitment. Throughout his training with Marin, Seiya learns to harness and control this power, eventually awakening his Pegasus armor.

The blue light first appears during Seiya's fight with Cassios, foreshadowing his destiny as the Pegasus Knight.

Guraad's goal is to find and eliminate Athena before she ascends to full godhood. If Athena reaches her full divine power, she will have the ability to annihilate humanity.
