Amid internal security inspections at the police station, officer Thomas is preoccupied with phone calls to stay informed. His family's turmoil is palpable as they await his farewell to their deceased mother before the casket closure.

Distracted by his responsibilities, Thomas drives carelessly and swerves to avoid a dog on the road. This momentary loss of control results in a disastrous outcome that he cannot foresee.

Upon stopping his vehicle, Thomas discovers a man lying unconscious and realizes he is not breathing. Panic sets in as the gravity of the situation dawns on him, leading to a desperate decision to cover up the incident.

In an attempt to hide his mistake, Thomas places the man's body in the trunk of his car. Just then, he encounters officers who pull him over for questioning, raising the stakes of his already precarious situation.

Thomas arrives at the morgue, grappling with the distressing task of disposing of the corpse. Concurrently, a security team stirs trouble as they investigate corruption allegations, heightening Thomas's anxiety.

Determined to eliminate the evidence, Thomas devises a plan to move the body through the morgue's air conditioning vents. Disguising his actions with a remote-controlled toy, he orchestrates a daring maneuver unnoticed.

After successfully navigating the body into the chamber beside his mother, Thomas faces a perilous moment when a ringtone echoes from the coffin. Thankfully, he remains undetected as the attendant enters the room.

Back at the police station, Thomas and Marc are assigned to search for a missing person, Barcelo, whom Thomas had unintentionally struck. Their investigation leads them to traffic police revealing crucial surveillance footage.

As Thomas thinks he's evaded his troubles, he starts receiving threatening calls revealing knowledge of his crime. The intimidation escalates when Marelli, the Head of Narcotics, confronts him, further complicating Thomas's fate.

Mistaking Thomas for someone else, Marelli slaps him in his office, revealing his interest in the corpse of Barcelo. Thomas realizes he's ensnared in a conspiracy that threatens not only him but his family as well.

Upon further investigation, Thomas discovers Barcelo's body riddled with bullet wounds, uncovering the murderous connection between Marelli and Barcelo. This revelation signifies a deeper threat lurking within Thomas's life.

Determined to end Marelli's terror, Thomas ingeniously embeds a bomb within Barcelo's corpse and delivers it to Marelli. The subsequent explosion fails to claim Marelli's life, resulting in a fierce confrontation between the two.

In a final showdown, Thomas fires the deadly shot, killing Marelli. Despite being apprehended for his actions, the police department chooses to bury the case, preserving their reputation but leaving Thomas in turmoil.

After resigning, Thomas donates his severance pay to Marc's widow, Naomi, who later hands him the vault key from her investigation. This unexpected turn reveals a hidden treasure, transforming Thomas's ordeal into an opportunity for wealth.
