In Austin, Texas, the lives of three young individuals—Erica, Franki, and Nate—converge in a tragic and fateful manner, leading them down a tumultuous and violent path towards devastating despair.

Erica (Amanda Fuller), living rent-free in a local co-op, spends her nights exploring the vibrant but dangerous bar scene of Austin, frequently entangled in fleeting relationships. Emotionally scarred and withdrawn, she engages in a series of brief encounters with numerous men, never truly connecting with anyone on a deeper level. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with the enigmatic Nate (Noah Taylor), a seemingly quiet man working at a hardware store who carries the weight of his honorable discharge from Iraq. Despite a subtle aura of danger that surrounds him, Nate shows little interest in jumping into bed with Erica, prompting the slow development of a fragile bond between them. However, the repercussions of one of Erica’s reckless flings are about to emerge, leading to unforeseen consequences.

Meanwhile, Franki (Marc Senter), a fiery young man with aspirations of rock stardom, grapples with the responsibilities of caring for a sick mother while being distanced from his long-term girlfriend. His life spins into chaos when, during a night of drunken revelry, he inadvertently shares Erica with his friends. A shocking twist of fate soon unfolds, spiraling Franki’s already tumultuous existence further into disarray.
