Savannah, a thoughtful and capable teenager, watches her mare give birth for the first time, and the moment stirs quiet pride in Finney, who recalls his late wife and wonders what she would have thought of his handling of the moment. The trio moves between chores and small talks, sharing jokes and duties as the farm settles into its routine.

That calm is tested when Cash and Savannah head to the church, where Pastor Wilder delivers a sermon about leaving behind a violent past and embracing a higher calling. There’s history here—Wilder and Cash seem to know each other from rough days past—yet the moment feels more like a fragile truce than a cure. A pocket knife from Cash’s past becomes a symbol of the era Savannah is growing into, and she keeps it as a reminder of both danger and protection.

A tense dinner follows. Cash steps away to discuss matters with Finney, while a group of Big Cat’s men arrives and sits with Savannah. To resolve the escalating risk, Big Cat lays out two clear objectives—the first job will strike at rival factions and restore some leverage, and it does, reinforcing Cash’s resolve to find a way out even as danger closes in. As the bodies pile up and the money moves, Cash and Finney push forward, transferring the money and Lazarus’s corpse to a truck while a desperate attempt to erase the evidence unfolds—Cash even torches the other car to conceal the escape. The pressure erupts when Finney is overwhelmed at the church, and Savannah is seized. The final confrontation erupts in a blaze of violence as Savannah, driven by a mix of fear and resolve, catches the deadly edge of Big Cat’s assault and, in a fierce moment, drives a weapon into her rival. The hunter becomes the survivor as a quiet, hopeful future flickers on the farm. The closing scenes pull back to a still farm life: Savannah tending to the animals with the same calm focus she demonstrated at birth, while Wilder returns to his pulpit, his hand still smarting from the night’s battles but his faith steadier than before.
