Manohar, also known as Mannu, and Radha are college sweethearts who dream of a life together, but their plans hit a wall when Radha’s wealthy father and Mannu’s humble background provoke stern opposition. Told by both families to stay put, Radha finds a way to slip away and makes her way to Mannu’s home, setting off a chain of bold decisions. With the support of Mannu’s mother, Sumitra, and Radha’s uncle, the pair decides to leave the city behind, hoping to outpace the obstacles that fate stacks in their path. Their plan takes a dramatic turn when Natwarlal, the crafty uncle who accompanies Radha, persuades them to kidnap Ashutosh, the heir to a wealthy clan, and demand a hefty ransom from his father to win Radha’s father’s approval. The audacious scheme is meant to showcase their love, but it’s only the beginning of a far more tangled adventure.

Ashutosh, a sharp and resourceful young heir, had already crossed paths with Mannu and Radha during their college days. He proves to be cunning enough to turn the tables, and instead of being the victim, he abducts the couple and takes them on a high-stakes ride. During their time with him, Mannu and Radha begin to understand the true depth of Ashutosh’s world, and they discover that his girlfriend, Shivangi Mehra, had drifted apart from him because of a misunderstanding engineered by Ashutosh’s father. This revelation threads a complex emotional tapestry into the plot, illustrating how miscommunication and deception can ripple through multiple lives. At the same time, it becomes clear that Natwarlal is not merely a schemer with a ransom plan: he is an escaped convict working for the hard-edged crime lord Thakral, whose ambition stretches beyond any single score and who has his own reasons to see Ashutosh fall.

Back in the background, Natwarlal phones Ashutosh’s father to pretend that his son has been kidnapped, triggering a police response that adds a layer of chaos to an already fraught situation. The inspector in charge of the missing-person case is Shivangi, a determined officer who happens to be Ashutosh’s love interest as well. The pursuit that follows becomes a comic yet tense cat-and-mouse dance as Mannu, Radha, and Ashutosh try to stay one step ahead of the law and the criminals who would see them harmed. As the stakes rise, the plan to unite the two lovers with their respective families begins to take shape, and a series of misunderstandings is gradually cleared up. The tension peaks as Natwarlal and Thakral are brought to justice for their crimes, and Ashutosh’s feelings are laid bare for Shivangi.

In the final act, the misdirections fade and genuine affection comes to light. The couples’ bonds are reaffirmed, and the families are brought back together through a mix of courage, loyalty, and reconciliation. The story closes on a hopeful note, with love, truth, and perseverance winning out over manipulation and fear. Across its twists and turns, the film preserves a message of devotion and the belief that honest emotion can bridge divides, even when the path to happiness runs through a maze of schemes, danger, and mistaken loyalties.
