After a job interview, Seetha is appointed as the nanny to Manohar's daughter Shoba. She and Shoba quickly form a bond as they spend time together around the estate. The new position places Seetha under the protective gaze of Manohar.

Seetha and Shoba grow fond of each other as they share moments of care and play. Their growing bond brings warmth to the tense atmosphere of the estate. It highlights Seetha's commitment to Shoba's well-being.

Manohar explains that the man killed on the train was Chandru, not Seetha. This revelation reframes Seetha's earlier fear and helps her understand Manohar's motive behind his brutal acts. The truth clarifies the ugly balance of revenge that governs their lives.

Moorthy's colleague becomes curious about the case and suspects Seetha after she says she forgot the killer's face. Moorthy agrees with the suspicion, viewing her as a potential suspect. The tension heightens as the investigation moves forward.

On Shoba's birthday, there is a plan for Manohar to surrender his wealth and confess to the murder, but the police arrive to arrest Seetha first.
