Pokémon: Jirachi - Wish Maker

Ash Ketchum and his friends arrive at a wide crater where a festival celebrates the Millennium Comet. The comet’s seven-day appearance awakens Jirachi and fills the land of Forina with a sense of life and possibility.

May purchases a seven-panel charm that is said to grant a wish for each night the comet shines. The charm foreshadows energy-driven wishes and hints at how Jirachi’s magic can reshape the festival’s reality.

Butler and Diane discover the stone that seals Jirachi and forcibly remove it from Forina, setting Butler’s power-hungry plan in motion. The release destabilizes the delicate balance surrounding the comet’s touch on the land.

Max hears a voice coming from the rock Diane holds and helps release Jirachi. Jirachi’s awakening triggers a playful but dangerous twist when a candy wish manifests not from a stall, but is teleported into the festival grounds by the wish-energy.

Butler reveals his deeper motive: a former Team Magma scientist who longs to resurrect Groudon. He intends to harness Jirachi’s energy to power a machine and believes a steady energy source is essential for his plan.

The Absol arrives, signaling trouble and joining Jirachi in warning the group against Butler’s plans. The legendary Pokémon heightens the sense of danger and sets the stage for a confrontation.

With Diane’s resolve and Absol's guidance, the group races Butler’s bus toward Forina. They dodge traps hidden inside a circus tent and rally others to follow, inching closer to Butler’s machine.

Butler’s Mightyena places a tracking device on the departing vehicle. The device falls off during a bumpy journey, but Butler continues to track their route and closes in on their destination.

The energy Butler harnesses to revive Groudon instead forms a giant artificial monster that drains life from the land. The creature consumes plants and animals, turning Forina into a barren wasteland while capturing May, Brock, and even Team Rocket.

Diane is absorbed by the towering creature, forcing Butler to confront the cost of his obsession. May and Brock join Ash in resisting the monster and attempting to free their friends.

In the climactic duel, Jirachi reclaims the energy used to power the fake monster and destroys it with a final Doom Desire. Jirachi departs to resume its thousand-year slumber, leaving Forina in a quiet, relieved mood.

The crisis ends with relief and a sense of wonder. May forgets to close the last panel of her seven-panel charm, but remains confident that her unspoken wish will still come true. Max hears Jirachi’s voice one last time as the group prepares to leave Forina.
