Shiva, played by Rio Raj, and Vicky, known as 'Vera Level' Vicky and portrayed by Vignesh, start their journey as two friends traveling together in a car after their bike breaks down. As they reflect on their past, the film takes us back a few months to reveal their life stories. During this flashback, we see Shiva and Vicky living in a rented house with their childhood brother, Ram, played by Chutti Aravind. While Ram shows some respect for their landlord, played by Mayilsamy, Shiva and Vicky often disregard the rules, highlighting their rebellious nature.
The plot thickens as Shiva and Vicky run a YouTube channel called "Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu," through which they aim to entertain viewers with pranks and comedy. One of their daring pranks takes place at a mall, where they threaten a prominent businessman named Radha Ravi as part of their comedic stunt, holding knives to his neck. This act quickly attracts attention and results in a confrontation. When the businessman, Jeepakaran, realizes it's just a prank, he is visibly annoyed, and a press reporter named Nisha, played by Shirin Kanchwala, gets involved. Nisha, who is also present at the scene, ends up slapping Shiva in frustration, showcasing how their antics often cross the line.
Later, Jeepakaran summons Shiva and Vicky to question their motives, to which they admit that their pranks are primarily driven by their desire to make money. Despite their reckless behavior, the duo demonstrates a kind-hearted side when they help two beggars on Marina Beach. Unbeknownst to them, both Nisha and Shiva develop feelings for each other during this encounter, but neither reveals their affection, leaving both of them unaware of the other's emotions.
Significantly, Shiva and Vicky notice that Jeepakaran's assistant, played by Rajmohan Arumugam, is suspiciously following them. Their new assignment from Jeepakaran involves completing three dangerous tasks: first, integrating into a breaking news story; second, selecting a mentally challenged individual as an MLA; and third, stopping a planned murder at a railway station. These tasks reveal the darker side of Jeepakaran's ambitions and his attempts to manipulate the system for personal gain.
The duo completes the first two tasks successfully, but their curiosity leads them to investigate the third, more sinister objective. Jeepakaran then shares a heartbreaking flashback about his son, Anbu, translated as 'This or That' Ayaz, who dreamt of becoming a reporter but was forced into his father's business. Anbu overheard a murder plot and tried to prevent it, only to be killed because no one helped him—a tragic tale that fuels Jeepakaran’s newfound resolve.
Driven by a desire to honor his son's dream, Jeepakaran aims to elect a mentally challenged man as an MLA, believing this act will fulfill Anbu's wish of making a difference in the world. Shiva and Vicky embark on this final mission, risking their lives to thwart the murderous plan and rescue innocent lives. In doing so, they unravel the corruption behind Jeepakaran’s schemes, ultimately balancing their comedy-driven beginnings with moments of intense drama, heroism, and moral reflection.
Overall, the film blends humor, action, and emotional depth, portraying how two seemingly reckless individuals can take charge of their destiny and confront the dark forces lurking behind greed and corruption.
