While watching one of Dehlia Draycott's films, Nancy realizes that the revised will must have been hidden within a prop used in the movie. This breakthrough motivates her to continue the investigation.

Nancy discovers the hidden will in an antique shop located in Chinatown. She feels triumphant but is suddenly attacked and drugged by thugs as she leaves the shop, leading to a major twist in her investigation.

After being drugged, Nancy finds herself in an abandoned theater. Using her wits, she escapes and is thrust into a high-speed chase with the thugs, showcasing her resilience and determination.

After crashing during the chase, Nancy ends up in the emergency room. Here, she confesses her sleuthing to her worried father and Biedermeyer, revealing critical information about Draycott's will.

Nancy uncovers that Biedermeyer was disinherited by Dehlia and suspects him to be connected to her murder. She bravely questions him, leading to a confrontation that reveals more about the mystery.

Just as Nancy is cornered by Biedermeyer and his henchmen, Leshing, the groundskeeper, emerges from the secret passage and helps her by incapacitating the thugs, turning the tide in Nancy's favor.

With the will restored to its rightful owner, Jane is finally able to reunite with her daughter. The resolution of the mystery brings a new beginning for both Jane and the Draycott estate.

As Nancy contemplates the resolution of the Draycott case, she receives a call about another mystery happening in Scotland. Filled with excitement, she seems ready for her next adventure, leaving her previous mystery behind.
