This accidental theft was what triggered the chain of events leading to Kamayani's murder and Mickey's framing.

Bablu was Kamayanan's guard and associate who had a phone number connected to a Mumbai bakery's voicemail account. Mickey discovered that Bablu had been communicating with the mastermind through this voicemail system, using it as a secret channel to receive instructions. When Mickey traced this lead, Bablu was killed in a truck accident, murdered to silence him. The voicemail on the bakery account was later revealed to be ACP Siddhanth's voice, confirming he was the mastermind orchestrating the entire conspiracy.
