Several years later, in the quiet village of Chinna Anaikatti, the narrative shifts focus to Madha Gaja Raja, portrayed by Vishal Krishna, who steps into the role his father, Inspector Srinivasan, once held—to safeguard Thirumugam, played by Swaminathan, and his daughter Madhavi, as played by Anjali, from dangerous thugs hired by the villainous Shanmugapandi. To ensure their safety, Raja invites Thirumugam's family to stay with him at his residence. As they grow closer, Raja and Madhavi develop a romantic relationship, their bond strengthening amid the tensions of their environment. However, this budding love story faces obstacles when Srinivasan insults Thirumugam, leading Madhavi and her father to leave the village when Raja is away, creating a rift that adds emotional depth to the story.
The plot thickens with the introduction of Kalyanasundaram, owner of Goodbye Travels and played by Santhanam. He is facing marital discord, as his wife, Gayathri, portrayed by Gayathri Rao, influenced by her mother, seeks a divorce due to Kalyanasundaram's secret involvement in a mortuary van business—an information he had not disclosed before marriage. To mend fences, he invites both his wife and her mother to attend his school teacher’s daughter's wedding. During this journey, they encounter various characters, including Ramesh, a sub-collector played by Sadagoppan Ramesh, and Raja, the victorious relay race team member, who has now become a pivotal figure in their lives. Maya, Ramesh’s sister-in-law, hints at romantic interest in Raja, adding a layer of intrigue.
The story explores themes of reconciliation and family through a key sequence where Dhandapani reunites with his estranged brother-in-law Pedha Perumal, with whom he plans a wedding for his daughter—although she is secretly in love with her cousin. Raja's quest for fairness takes him to Chennai, where he demands compensation from Vishwanath, only to be met with outright denial. Vishwanath, collaborating with Minister Nallamuthu, falsely accuses Raja and an auto driver, played by Manivannan, of drug trafficking. However, the auto driver, who admits to the crime voluntarily, ultimately clears Raja's name. Raja then takes a strategic turn and instead targets corrupt officials like Inspector Shankar, who previously had arrested him.
A turning point occurs when Vishwanath plots to murder Minister Nallamuthu to seize control of the government. To foil this plan, Raja and Kalyanasundaram craft a daring scheme, using Nallamuthu’s body to fake his survival, leading to a scandal during Vishwanath’s swearing-in ceremony when a video exposing Vishwanath's henchmen murdering Nallamuthu is broadcast, forcing the event to be canceled. Raja, detecting Vishwanath’s sinister moves, rushes to Madurai and captures one of Vishwanath’s aides, who reveals the true purpose of the procession and the hidden money.
