Kraven the Hunter

The film opens with Sergei Kravinoff, known as 'Kraven The Hunter', being transported to a prison in Russia. As he arrives, he knocks out two inmates and is brought before crime boss Semyan Chorney, setting the stage for his ruthless nature.

In a dramatic confrontation, Kraven violently asserts his dominance by grabbing a tiger tooth and using it as a weapon against Chorney's goons. He quickly escalates the violence by killing Chorney and using another prisoner as a decoy during his escape.

The story flashes back 16 years to reveal young Sergei and his brother Dmitri being picked up from school by their father, mob boss Nikolai. They learn of their mother’s tragic suicide, a moment that deeply affects Sergei’s view of his father.

Nikolai takes Sergei and Dmitri on a hunt, introducing them to Aleksei Sytsevich, who aspires to join Nikolai's criminal empire. During this hunt, a lion attacks Sergei, leading to a life-altering encounter with the lion's blood that changes his DNA.

After being declared dead by doctors, Sergei's body miraculously revives due to the altered DNA from the lion's blood. This incident marks the beginning of his transformation into a being with enhanced abilities, setting him on the path to becoming 'The Hunter'.

Immediately after his revival, Sergei decides to run away from home, leaving his brother Dmitri behind to deal with their father. He seeks solace in the woods but encounters danger in the form of a wildebeest stampede.

In a dark turn of events, Sergei encounters two hunters who threaten him, leading to a brutal confrontation. He picks up a knife and kills the older hunter before brutally defeating the younger one, showcasing his growing savagery.

Now in the present day, Kraven hunts down criminals with his enhanced abilities, including a mercenary convoy. He viciously slaughters the mercenaries, demonstrating his terrifying skill and fearsome reputation as 'The Hunter'.

Kraven reunites with Calypso, the girl who saved him years ago, revealing his identity and his quest for vengeance against crime. The two form an alliance, combining her skills as a lawyer with his brutal tactics to fight against their common foes.

Aleksei, now a dangerous mercenary, seeks to establish his own criminal empire. He undergoes a transformation into 'The Rhino', showcasing the depth of his mutation and the lengths he will go to gain power.

Nikolai hosts a lavish birthday party for Dmitri at a nightclub, but tensions rise when an assassination attempt leaves several dead. This chaotic event foreshadows Dmitri's ultimate abduction by Aleksei’s goons.

Dmitri is kidnapped by Aleksei's men, leading Kraven on a frantic chase through the city. Despite his relentless efforts, Kraven struggles to catch up, highlighting the escalating dangers surrounding his family.
