Kannayya Kittayya

The film begins in a village where Kittayya, a devotee of Krishna, calls him Kannayya with affection. He is involved in protecting his family from the malicious maternal uncle, Bangaraiah, amid ongoing feuds. Kittayya's mother, Janakamma, plans for her daughter Saroja to marry Kittayya to restore family honor.

Saroja, who is proud of her foreign visit, returns to the village. Kittayya mocks her, which leads Saroja and her family to feel insulted. Bangaraiah retaliates by publicly humiliating Kittayya and Janakamma, escalating tensions within the family.

Shamed by Saroja's treatment, Janakamma attempts to take her own life. Kittayya vows to stand up for his family's honor and to make Bangaraiah submit, allocating his devotion to Lord Krishna as a source of strength.

Kittayya's words of defiance reach Lord Krishna in Vaikuntha, surprising the divine. Krishna, taking the form of Kannayya, descends to Earth to guide and protect Kittayya, setting the stage for divine intervention.

Disguised as Kannayya, the divine guide advises Kittayya to pursue Saroja sincerely. Kittayya begins his efforts to win her heart, facing various challenges but remaining steadfast with divine support.

Through determination and divine guidance, Kittayya successfully saves Saroja from danger and earns her love. His victory brings hope to his family amid ongoing conflicts with Bangaraiah.

Infuriated by Kittayya's success, Bangaraiah schemes to eliminate him, framing him for theft and creating chaos in the village. Despite these plots, Kittayya remains protected by divine forces.

Kittayya vows to wear Lord Krishna's attire until his marriage, symbolizing his unwavering devotion and commitment. This act signifies his loyalty to divine and earthly duties.

Narada misinterprets the situation and informs Rukmini and Satyabhama that Lord Krishna is romantically interested in Earthly women. The divine queens arrive on Earth, leading to comic moments and confusion.

Rukmini and Satyabhama claim themselves as Kittayya's wives, which angers him. The divine women are misunderstood, and Bangaraiah seeks to assassinate them, escalating the conflict.

Kittayya, with divine support, challenges Bangaraiah to produce the divine ladies before the villagers. This challenge aims to clear misunderstandings and restore peace.

Rukmini and Satyabhama carry off Kannayya (Krishna), capturing him, which leads to Kittayya facing severe trials and torture on Earth. Despite these hardships, Kittayya remains resolute.

Kittayya, with divine help, rescues Kannayya, proves his innocence, and reforms Bangaraiah. His efforts restore peace and demonstrate the power of faith and devotion.

The film concludes with Kittayya marrying Saroja, and everyone acknowledging the divine presence of Kannayya and Kittayya. The community celebrates their union and divine blessing.
