Jesse James Meets Frankenstein’s Daughter

In the early 1880s, Maria Frankenstein's evil granddaughter and her brother Rudolph move to a frontier town in the American West, drawn by the storm-prone prairie. They intend to use the storms to power their grim experiments on immigrant children. The town is already dying, making the disappearances easier to hide.

Maria orchestrates killings of children and replaces their brains with artificial ones, aiming to revive them as loyal slaves. Rudolph assists but secretly poisons victims as soon as they revive, sabotaging the experiments. They stage their work as flashes of science in the storm-lit lab.

As more bodies appear, Rudolph's poisonings undermine the revived creatures and threaten to expose the gruesome trail. Maria persists with the experiments, seeking a breakthrough that will finally grant them control. The lab and the town are quietly on edge as disappearances mount.

Mañuel Lopez and his wife Nina decide to leave town with their daughter Juanita, fearing the random disappearances. They hope to find safety far from the Frankenstein house and the growing terror. Their departure marks the growing costs of the town's unrest.

Jesse James, long believed dead, is alive and arrives with Hank Tracy to meet Butch Curry and his gang, The Wild Bunch. They plan to rob a staged coach, hoping to claim a fortune of 100,000 dollars. Their arrival destabilizes the town and sets a collision course with the Frankenstein plot.

Butch’s brother Lonny betrays the plan by informing the sheriff in exchange for becoming deputy and a cut of the reward. The sheriff stalls the pursuit, suspecting trouble but missing key details. The stage robbery proceeds with high stakes and a looming capture.

The Wild Bunch robs the stagecoach; the sheriff's men shoot the remaining gang members and wound Hank. Jesse and Hank escape into the night, making their way toward safety. The town realizes the criminals have escaped, but the danger isn't over.

Jesse and Hank retreat to the Lopez campout to tend Hank's wound and get rest. Juanita, despite her parents' wishes, goes to town to help the wounded and keep them hidden. The fragile alliance of strangers grows under the prairie night.

In the middle of the night, Juanita leads Jesse and Hank back to the Frankensteins' house to fix Hank. Maria agrees to help for her own purposes, which include reviving Hank as a new monster. She covers for the guests when the sheriff and Lonny arrive.

Maria performs the operation and gives Hank an artificial brain, reviving him as Igor. Rudolph secretly poisons Hank during the process, but Maria catches the attempt and orders Igor to strangle Rudolph. The newly revived Igor becomes a dangerous addition to the town's horrors.

Jesse slips the note to the town pharmacist, who realizes Maria's identity and calls the sheriff. The sheriff is away, so Lonny takes on Jesse as a pursuit target. Jesse escapes and kills Lonny in the ensuing chase.

Back at the Frankensteins' house, Igor incapacitates Jesse and ties him up, trapping him in the mansion. Juanita keeps a wary watch, trying to guide events from outside. The tension between monsters and humans tightens the noose around their fragile plans.

Juanita sends the sheriff to the Frankensteins' house to arrest Jesse, hoping to remove him as a threat. Maria orders Igor to go kill Juanita, attempting to keep her away from the truth. Igor remains a loose cannon, already complicated by his allegiance to Maria and his new host.

Igor ignores Maria's order to kill Juanita and instead turns on Maria, strangling her. He then turns his attention to Jesse, pursuing him through the house. Juanita, seizing the sheriff's gun, shoots Igor to end the threat.

The next morning, Jesse buries Hank and honors his fallen friend. Juanita pleads with him to stay with her, but he is a fugitive who cannot risk endangering her. He rides off into the sunset, choosing distance over danger and leaving the town to its haunted future.
