Vinod’s death is finally revealed to be a suicide, not a murder. After the shooting, the three police inspectors give their alibis, but only Sandeep’s story is contradicted by the footage: he claims to have been in the men’s restroom, yet the video shows him in the ladies’ hall, using it as an excuse for an affair. While reviewing the recordings, Pramod notices that a cell door had been left open and the evidence locker emptied, a dead‑end that only deepens the mystery.

The turning point arrives when a news clip of a television singing‑competition is examined. One of the contestants is Pramod’s long‑absent daughter, Sreeja. Pramod asks Bineesh whether this girl is the same child Vinod assaulted in the motel years earlier; Bineesh confirms it. The realization that the girl he killed was his brother’s own daughter shocks Vinod, and, overwhelmed by the weight of his crime, he turns the gun on himself.

When Pramod learns the truth, he confronts his wife, asking her to tell their daughter about Vinod. She agrees, but Pramod, horrified by the fact that his twin’s face now haunts his child, tells her to keep the secret. In a final, visceral act of rage and despair, he breaks a mirror, symbolising the shattered connection between the twins and the irrevocable damage their shared trauma has wrought.
