Inside Man: Most Wanted

Five years after a previous bank robbery orchestrated by Dalton Russell’s gang, Ariella Barash leads a new group of robbers in a daring heist. They successfully take over the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and take all the staff hostage, aiming to steal a substantial amount of Nazi gold stored within.

In the aftermath of the hostage situation at the bank, law enforcement springs into action. The FBI and NYPD deploy their top negotiators, Brynn Stewart and Remy Darbonne, to resolve the explosive situation and ensure the safety of all hostages involved.

During initial negotiations, Ariella, who claims the title 'Most Wanted', begins to communicate her demands. Both negotiators, Stewart and Darbonne, start to unravel her reasons for the heist as they engage in a tense back-and-forth.

It is revealed that Arthur Case, the bank's owner and target of the robbery, has died while under house arrest. His death becomes pivotal as his son, Dietrich, seeks revenge and orchestrates further complications by taking Dalton hostage.

Dietrich, in an act of desperation and revenge for his father’s legacy, takes Dalton—also known as David—hostage. This twist puts immense pressure on Ariella, who is forced to participate in the heist to financially compensate Dietrich for the loss of their father’s treasure.

Ariella and her sister Ava cunningly fashion the robbery to create the illusion of failure. They carefully leave behind clues that later help the FBI and NYPD understand the true motivations behind the heist, showing their intelligence and foresight.

While the robbery unfolds, Ava, remaining outside the bank, engages with negotiator Darbonne. She cunningly claims that her abusive ex-boyfriend is involved in the heist, further complicating the situation and providing additional layers to the negotiation efforts.

Ariella leaves behind a family photo in a safety deposit box, which reveals her biological relationship to her brother David. This act is a significant detail that highlights the emotional stakes involved and gives deeper insight into her commitment to the heist.

To ensure the arrest of Dietrich and the recovery of the stolen gold, Ariella leaves a cell phone for Stewart. This strategic move signifies her willingness to cooperate under certain conditions and adds an unexpected twist to the negotiations.

Eventually, Dietrich is apprehended by the FBI as a result of the clues left by Ariella and Ava. While this brings relief to the negotiators, it also leads to heightened tension, as Dietrich attempts to order the execution of David, still held hostage.

Following the arrest of Dietrich, Darbonne and Stewart reflect on the fates of Ariella and Ava. Darbonne expresses his belief that Ariella is still alive, and foresees dire consequences when she discovers her brother’s fate.

In a climactic mid-credits scene, Ariella, now disguised, enters a Berlin bar with a singular purpose. She seeks retribution against Dietrich’s men, making it clear that the conflict is far from over and setting the stage for her vengeance for her brother's death.
