Police Story: Lockdown

Jackie Chan stars as Captain Zhong Wen, a dedicated police officer from Mainland China. In a bid to reconnect with his somewhat distant daughter, Miao Miao, played by Tian Jing, Zhong visits her at a trendy bar that has been transformed from an old factory into a modern nightlife hub. However, his excitement turns to discontent when he discovers that Miao Miao is in a relationship with Wu Jiang, portrayed by Ye Liu, the bar’s owner, whom Zhong disapproves of.

As the night unfolds, Zhong’s initial concerns about Wu Jiang are quickly validated when he finds himself in a perilous situation—a robbery leads to him and several patrons being taken hostage inside the nightclub. Drawing from his extensive experience as a top cop, Zhong begins to unravel a deeper vendetta that Wu Jiang has harbored since a harrowing encounter five years prior.

With the atmosphere thickening and the stakes rising, Zhong must navigate a world of chaos and deceit. When a notorious criminal, previously incarcerated, enters the tightly secured bar, it becomes critical for Zhong to piece together the intricate web that links him, the hostages, and the unfolding drama. As tensions escalate, Captain Zhong Wen stands at a crossroads, tasked with halting a night filled with turmoil and danger, leading to a showdown that could change everything.
