Amid the dancing, everyone looks to the horizon where distant silhouettes appear, hinting at incoming forces. A sudden shift to unease marks the moment when the crowd senses a forthcoming occupation.

A mother and her son decide to flee into the mountain jungles to avoid the arrival of American troops. They abandon the city in search of safety among the trees and streams. The journey marks the beginning of a perilous life in isolation.

In the jungle, they find an abandoned wooden hut and settle there as their home. They hope to escape civilization and the perceived oppression of the Americans. The hut becomes their fragile sanctuary amid looming danger.
