Action

Set during the American occupation of the Philippines, the film follows Teodoro Asedillo, played by Fernando Poe Jr., a patriotic schoolteacher who becomes a revolutionary leader. Driven by a steadfast belief in social justice and workers’ rights, he confronts the oppressive regime. After being removed from his post as police chief for his convictions, he forms the Anak Pawis movement to champion the oppressed.
