In the Lost Lands

The film opens with Boyce, who has a heavily scarred face, addressing the audience. He starkly states that this is no fairy tale, setting the tone for the brutal dystopia known as the Lost Lands.

In a grim display of power, Gray Alys is hanged by The Enforcer and other acolytes representing the Church. Utilizing her magical abilities, she manages to manipulate one of the guards into freeing her, resulting in the guard's execution by The Enforcer.

Boyce, without his scars, traverses the treacherous landscape of the Lost Lands. Anticipating an ambush, he cleverly uses a two-headed snake to incapacitate one of the attackers before unleashing a flurry of gunfire to eliminate the rest.

Gray Alys seeks refuge with a blind witch, but is soon confronted by The Queen and Jerais, who implores her assistance in hunting down a shapeshifter by the next full moon. However, Jerais secretly aims to sabotage this quest for his own motives.

When Gray Alys finds Boyce in a pub, she recruits him for the hunt, revealing that he knows the shapeshifter, named Sardor, the 'Grey Wolf.' Meanwhile, the political tensions rise as The Enforcer collaborates with The Patriarch to find and execute Gray Alys.

The duo encounter Boyce's old friends, Ross and Mara, who are soon discovered by The Enforcer. Under duress, Mara reveals their destination, Skull River, leading to tragic consequences as Ross is killed and Mara is kidnapped.

Boyce and Gray Alys discover the grim fate of another friend, Cyrus, who's been executed by the Church. An intense gunfight ensues with The Enforcer's goons, where Boyce saves Gray Alys from a deadly fall even as he's wounded himself.

As they travel further, Boyce and Gray Alys encounter tree-like monsters. Using her magic, Gray Alys creates an illusion that incinerates the creatures, revealing both her strength and the dangers of trusting her.

In a shocking turn, The Queen eliminates The Overlord, revealing her pregnancy with Boyce's child. This act sets off a chain of power plays and deadly maneuvers, leading The Patriarch to plot against her.

The Enforcer pursues Gray Alys aboard a train, but it derails and plunges into the abyss, eliminating her and her henchmen. Meanwhile, Jerais kills The Patriarch to protect The Queen from his schemes.

On the night of the full moon, Boyce and Gray Alys arrive at Skull River, only to unveil a shocking truth: Boyce is the shapeshifter they sought. As the moon rises, he transforms, and a fierce battle ensues.

Gray Alys, knowing Boyce’s true form, incapacitates him using silver claws. Despite saving Boyce from his transformation, she reveals her treachery, killing him and burying his remains, leaving her with his pelt.

Gray Alys delivers Boyce’s pelt to The Queen, only to face betrayal when she discovers Boyce's identity. In a fit of rage, The Queen kills Jerais, unveiling the chaos that has engulfed their world.

The citizens of the Lost Lands begin to revolt after the death of The Overlord, leading to a power vacuum. As chaos reigns, The Queen flees, and Boyce's grave shakes, hinting at a larger resurrection narrative.

Boyce is resurrected and seeks vengeance against Gray Alys. Yet, in an unexpected turn, they choose to ally instead, solidifying a dangerous partnership as they navigate the treacherous terrains of the Lost Lands together.
