Ishaan, a charming and attractive music producer from Mumbai, finds himself ensconced in a cocoon of comfort fostered by his mother, Nisha, who has always shielded him from the world. His elder sister, Shivani, plays the role of a guardian, ensuring he remains the coveted “golden boy” in their family. Since childhood, Nisha has instilled in Ishaan a sense of superiority, convincing him that he can do no wrong.

Living with his girlfriend, Anushka, he takes her support for granted, even going so far as to avoid sharing expenses like grocery bills. He boasts to Anushka that his looks will always attract any woman, disregarding her contributions, including cooking him meals every day. In his professional life, there’s Beena, his boss, who consistently dismisses his work, labeling the women he presents as mere “bimbos” and insisting that her ascent in the company serves to humble Ishaan, who has been there for years.

When Ishaan showcases the emerging talent, Sukanya, to Beena, she humiliates Sukanya during her audition, leading to her being kicked out. Meanwhile, Anushka maintains a close friendship with Shivani, who advises her to end things with Ishaan, but Anushka remains fiercely loyal, believing her love is enough. Shivani, married to Adil and mother to a son named Rishi, is concerned that Ishaan isn’t ready for the commitment of marriage.

Frustrated with Ishaan’s irresponsible behavior, Anushka has a turning point when she is left to handle a chaotic house party thrown by Ishaan without her knowledge. When he forgets their plans to meet his parents, it becomes apparent to Anushka that Ishaan views their relationship as a mere joke. After a confrontation, she decides to end the relationship, leaving Ishaan unperturbed as he shifts to a new apartment.

In this new chapter, he encounters his vivacious neighbor, Gauri, and starts falling for her playful confidence. Concurrently, Nisha comes to stay with him after announcing her separation from his father, who he learns has become insufferable post-retirement. Ishaan stumbles upon another promising talent, Amala, whom he mentors meticulously. However, Beena dismisses Amala’s potential again, leading to Ishaan’s growing frustration.

While Anushka grapples with her unexpected pregnancy, she confides in Shivani, who attempts to reunite her with Ishaan. But he remains oblivious to his responsibilities, choosing to deepen his connection with Gauri instead. The tension escalates when Ishaan’s career takes a hit, as Beena decides to promote Sukanya, leading to Ishaan’s resignation. Encouraged by Gauri, Ishaan resolves to start his own music company and launch Amala independent of Beena.

As Gauri pursues a scholarship abroad, Ishaan begins to realize his past negligence. When he discovers Anushka’s condition, it creates turmoil within the family, culminating in a clash between Shivani and Nisha, prompting the latter to confront Ishaan. In a moment of clarity, Nisha acknowledges her failure to hold Ishaan accountable, leading to critical changes in their dynamics.

On the eve of an important launch, Ishaan finally embraces Amala’s suggestions, and the event becomes a resounding success. Just as new responsibilities arise— with Anushka in labor—Gauri must leave for Paris, understanding the unfolding events. Eight months later, Ishaan is nurturing his daughter, Diya, while maintaining a connection with Gauri, who is set to return, alongside Anushka, who has moved on in her life, embarking on a new journey of her own.
