I Am the Ripper

At a crowded apartment party, Raphaëlle is pawed by a male guest who provokes her. She kicks him in the eye, triggering a brutal chain of events. The killer, a Death-like figure in a cloak and skull mask, murders the man in the bathroom, unseen by most of the crowd.

The murdered man’s body is discovered by a girl who stumbles onto the scene. The killer decapitates her in a brutal moment, tossing the head into the living room. The revelation throws the party into chaos and fear takes hold.

The cloaked Death threads through the partygoers, skewering heads and slashing at anyone who remains. The survivors either flee in panic or perish under the otherworldly assault. The apartment becomes a proving ground for the killer's merciless violence.

Raphaëlle stays behind to confront the killer, and is ultimately possessed, transforming into a hellish she-demon. Her friends realize something has changed as she towers over the chaos. The other survivors strive to escape but keep circling back to the same apartment.

The remaining guests split up to seek help, yet inexplicably keep finding themselves back inside the apartment. With Raphaëlle transformed, the threat continues to hunt through the building. The cycle of horror locks the group into a loop of confinement.

Death's hunt persists as the killer stalks the last survivors. They grab the weaponry available and attempt counterattacks, but the guns prove useless against Death. The body count climbs while hope dwindles.

Peter, one of the partygoers, searches for Raphaëlle and instead encounters the killer—Death personified. A tense gunfight erupts, and Death gains control of the weapon. Peter is forced to confront the supernatural nature of the assailant.

After the gunfight ends, Death defeats Peter and shows him a glimpse of Hell. Death spares Peter for now and offers a challenge: a fight where the winner keeps Peter's soul. Peter is told he has 24 hours to rest and train.

Peter decides to take control of his fate and places a pistol to his head. Instead of ending his life, he is pulled into visions of his dead friends who guide him to a club where the rules of the afterlife are explained. This choice catalyzes the path to the upcoming trial.

Inside the club, a small entrance exam is explained by their otherworldly employers. The candidate must kill someone he loved while he was alive to seal the deal. Peter's friends accompany him, all eager to ensure the plan goes through.

Peter identifies a target among his loved ones, setting up the cruel test. The presence of his friends while contracting adds pressure to perform. The tension underscores the moral peril of breaking the rule.

One of Peter's friends reveals that he is an angel sent down as an arbiter for Death's trials. This revelation complicates the power dynamics and hints at a higher order controlling the conflict. The angel's intervention will influence how the fight to come unfolds.
