Hijacked

Lieb Industries hosts its 20-year anniversary gala in Paris as executives mingle with guests while security keeps watch. CIA agents Joe Ballard and Mike guard the event, and Liz, a journalist and Ross's ex, moves through the crowd. The intel hints that The Tribe's boss could be present, setting a tense mood for the night.

Joe and Ross raid a suspected Tribe gathering in Paris on the party night. Joe discovers a brunette woman tied to a chair, whom he had flirted with earlier, and a firefight erupts. Many militants are killed, and the brunette shoots Joe before slipping away into the chaos.

The morning after the party, Lieb schedules a meeting with Liz to address the looming SEC headlines. Michelle, Lieb's sister, is unhappy with Liz's involvement and the PR plan. The family dynamics hint at deeper tensions behind Lieb's empire.

Liz is hired to handle Lieb's PR in light of the SEC hearing, and she advises bringing Lieb's biggest contributors to New York for exposure. Lieb prepares his private Boeing 747, with Liz and the contributors boarding the aircraft.

On Lieb's private Boeing 747, Ross confronts the security risk and learns The Tribe is after Lieb. Forced to fly to NYC for the hearing, Lieb asks Ross to join the security detail, and Ross agrees when he discovers Liz is on board.

Midway through the flight, Michelle enters the cargo hold and releases three armed gunmen from her private car. The brunette assassin from the Paris party is among them, and the co-pilot cooperates as the hijackers seize control of the plane.

The gunmen round up the remaining occupants, including Michelle and Ross, into an isolated cabin. Bruce Lieb is locked inside a titanium bunker with no access, controlled by the head of security Rothwell, while Southwell is shot and triggers an alarm that locks the bunker.

The hijackers demand Lieb's wealth be transferred to a Geneva account, using Michelle as leverage. Lieb resists the demand, and the lead gunman shoots Michelle in the head, tightening the crew’s and hostages' peril.

Ross and Southwell overpower a gunman and start rescuing the remaining hostages. The brunette assassin is captured and reveals a bomb on the plane with a timer set to go off 20 minutes after the plane hits 20,000 feet.

Lieb's CFO uses a video conference to transfer 2.73 billion dollars to the Geneva account. As soon as the transfer completes, the lead gunman orders the co-pilot to descent, triggering a 20-minute countdown to the bomb.

Ross overpowers the lead gunman when he returns for the parachutes. Southwell overrides the security system and enters the cockpit, reviving the captain to coordinate with ATC. The brunette assassin is persuaded to disarm the bomb, stalling the countdown.

An explosion in the titanium bunker distracts the crew as the lead gunman attempts an escape. Ross kills him with a knife after he fatally wounds Southwell. The captain lands the plane and the remaining hijackers are arrested.

During the post-incident investigation, it becomes clear Lieb never boarded the plane and was only connected via video conference. Everyone who knew of Lieb's activities was onboard, including Michelle, his lawyer, and his CFO. The plane was never intended to land, and Lieb is revealed to be the leader of The Tribe, using the hijack to launder millions into Tribe accounts; Ross vows to hunt him down.
