Determined to uncover the truth, Amy travels to Romania, the location of the mysterious events portrayed in the video. This journey marks the beginning of her entrapment in a world of horror and supernatural occurrences.

In Romania, Amy bribes a landlord to gain access to a dilapidated apartment. Inside, she finds the hanged body of Marla, the woman from the video, who clutches a mystical puzzle box, linking Amy deeper into the horrors of the Deaders.

After escaping an attack by Marla’s spirit, Amy views a video where Marla warns her against opening the puzzle box. Ignoring the warning, Amy’s curiosity leads her to pry it open, resulting in a nightmarish encounter with Pinhead.

Amy ventures into a seedy subway area where she meets Joey, a man who reveals information about the cult leader, Winter. This encounter is key as it further ties Amy into the dangerous world of the Deaders.
