Hell and Back

Idealistic Remy embarks on a mission to revive the struggling pier carnival where he and his unusual companions work. With the looming threat of foreclosure, he seeks guidance from a mystical fortune-teller named Madame Zonar to uncover a potential solution to their problems.

Madame Zonar provides Remy with a mysterious tome that features a page depicting the Devil's anguished tears. Convinced that this cursed artifact may hold the key to their salvation, Remy decides to showcase it at The Gates of Hell attraction.

As frustrations grow, Curt requests a rare mint from Remy, who demands a blood oath as collateral. When Curt admits he doesn’t possess the mint, Remy's anger escalates, leading to ominous signs and a sense of foreboding.

Without warning, Curt is sucked into a portal inside The Gates of Hell attraction. Driven by urgency, Remy and Augie commandeer a vehicle from the ride, diving headfirst into the swirling abyss in an attempt to rescue their friend.

Upon arriving in Hell, the group encounters demons and is ultimately brought before the Devil himself. As they contemplate their torturous fate, the Devil mentions Orpheus, hinting at a possible escape for their souls.

Just as the Devil plans to sacrifice Remy and Augie, a mysterious female demon named Deema intervenes, having deviated from the Devil's intentions. Her unexpected assistance brings a glimmer of hope as she takes a liking to Augie.

Meanwhile, Curt finds himself at the mercy of the Devil but surprisingly develops a bond with his captor. When he learns about his fate as a ritual sacrifice, he hatches a plan to entertain the Devil to change his outcome.

Guided by Deema, Remy and Augie traverse the labyrinth searching for Orpheus, who is rumored to be their savior. They encounter Durmessa, Deema's mother, who warns them that Orpheus may not be the hero they expect.

Upon reaching Orpheus, they discover he is more interested in romance than heroism, leading to frustration, particularly from Deema. As they confront Orpheus about his responsibility, the group's trust begins to fracture.

As Deema and Augie's bond blossoms, they receive alarming news via the Devil's cellphone that Curt is at risk of being sacrificed. Racing against time, they rush to rescue him, uniting their forces once more.

The group’s plans take another twist when Orpheus attempts to save them by disguising himself as a demon band leader. His performance catches the attention of Barb, who is descended from Heaven, complicating their escape.

Following a chaotic encounter, Remy, Augie, Curt, and Deema find themselves ensnared by twisted trees that represent their most haunting memories. In an ironic moment, they learn Orpheus's childhood trauma is among them.

In a dramatic twist, Curt secretly drops a mint to Remy while they are trapped upside down. Realizing that consuming the mint fulfills the blood oath, Remy devises a plan to escape the clutches of the Devil.

Using their collective strength and determination, the group evades capture by the Devil's minions and makes their daring escape. They successfully return to the mortal realm, freeing themselves from Hell's grip.

Six months later, the pier carnival has been revitalized, inspired by their harrowing experiences in Hell. The group celebrates their victory with the opening of the 'Gates of Heaven' exhibit featuring Orpheus and Barb.
