Raja, from a middle-class background, and Yash Vardhan, a wealthy boy, grow up as close friends. They bond over off-road racing challenges despite their different social backgrounds, showcasing a deep friendship. Their bond is foundational to the story, setting the stage for future events.

Raja encounters Rani Sharma, the daughter of a local doctor, at college. He instantly falls in love with her, captivated by her presence and charm. Her initial hesitation towards Raja heightens the emotional tension between them.

Raja calls Rani to a precarious cliff on a rainy day to profess his love. During the storm, she gets caught in the rain, and Raja's declaration begins to sway her feelings. His romantic gesture demonstrates his deep affection for her.

While Rani asks Yash for a ride, he is captivated by her. They share casual flirting in the car before she leaves to meet Raja, setting Yash’s developing romantic interest in motion. Yash's feelings for Rani begin to deepen.

Raja, feeling rejected after confessing his love, attempts to kill himself by walking off the cliff backwards. Rani intervenes at the last moment, preventing him from falling but realizing his love is genuine. Their feelings are reaffirmed, deepening their bond.

Yash secretly observes Raja and Rani together and is struck by jealousy and bitterness. His shock and wounded pride mark the beginning of his darker emotions towards his friends' relationship.

Under false pretenses, Yash invites Raja to the same cliff. While trying to console his friend, Yash pushes Raja off the ledge by deliberately releasing his hand, leading to Raja's tragic death. Rani witnesses the murder and is devastated.

After witnessing Raja’s murder, Rani tells Yash that they will reunite and threatens him. Driven by guilt and despair, she commits suicide by jumping off the cliff, leaving Yash heartbroken and haunted.

Many years have passed, and Yash, now unmarried, meets Reshma, a folk dancer resembling Rani. He promises to support her and her father's medical treatment while being drawn to her talents and appearance.

Yash is shocked to find Raju, who looks exactly like Raja, indicating a possible past life connection. His fascination and concern grow as he continues to oversee Reshma's life and try to win her heart.

Reshma begins to remember her previous life and her connection to Raja and Rani after encounters with Raju. She becomes distressed as she realizes the truth, revealing her nightmares and past life memories to Raju.

Reshma confronts Yash about his deceit and attempts to expose his manipulations. When Yash tries to marry her through secret arrangements, she escapes with proof of her past life memories, fleeing from his control.

Yash, enraged by the revelations, commits a series of murders of Reshma’s father, Raju’s close friend, and a relative. In a climactic chase, Raju and Reshma return to the location of their past deaths, fighting to end Yash’s reign of violence.

In a final struggle, Raju hangs onto Yash’s hand at the brink of death. Instead of falling, Raju distracts Yash, causing him to fall and die, avenging Raja’s death. Raju and Reshma unite, ending their tragic cycle.
