On Halloween Eve, Anson steps into a convenience store, buys sorbet, and flirts with clerk Bethany. This ordinary moment sets up a calm before the night turns brutal. The scene creates a stark contrast between everyday life and the horror that follows.

As the Cantina closes for the night, Kerry's coworkers throw a small party to celebrate her upcoming departure to become a paramedic. Staff like Cricket, Yannick, Chuy, and Winketta mingle while Kerry basks in the camaraderie. The festive mood will soon be overshadowed by danger lurking outside the doors.

Anson, Stef, and Mimi appear and swiftly bind the employees to chairs. The doors are welded shut and phone lines cut, trapping everyone inside. The trio reveals their true intent: torture and cannibalism, not robbery.

The captors make clear there will be no money, only torture and consumption. They begin dragging captives into the kitchen for sick, sadistic games. The atmosphere tightens as fear and control grow.

Stef locks Yannick in the kitchen, turning it into a stage for the planned meals. The others brace themselves for the brutal games as captives are lined up for execution. The mood is claustrophobic as the system of control tightens.

Kerry pretends to be romantically interested in Anson to win his trust while secretly retrieving a pantry list for Yannick. Her deception keeps the captors’ scheme intact and adds a dangerous edge to the interactions. The ruse also serves to place Kerry closer to the cooking operations.

Kerry crawls out and, amid the chaos, Burt falls to his death. She rides away on a Vespa but is struck by an ambulance whose driver is someone she trained with. Kerry is loaded into the ambulance, panicking as she realises Anson has vanished.

Several months pass as the surviving players cope with the horror. Anson consults with his pickled head of Stef before heading back to the convenience store where it all began. The meeting hints at a future between Anson and Bethany as he visits her with a single red rose.

Anson visits Bethany and shares ice cream, while Kerry watches from across the street, taking photos. Bethany accepts the romance, but the camera pulls back to reveal Kerry alive, scarred, and smiling at the couple from a distance. The ending leaves a sense of danger lingering and Kerry clearly still in control.
