Gone Nutty

Scrat finds a large tree hollowed out and filled with numerous acorns, with an empty spot in the middle. He attempts to place his last acorn into this spot, initially trying to screw it in like before. He then remembers the consequences and carefully screws it in, but it pops out again.

After multiple failed attempts, Scrat, becoming angry and frustrated, stomps the acorn into place. This causes all the acorns in the tree to spill out through a large hole, creating an avalanche of acorns.

The avalanche sends Scrat sliding down the side of a mountain as he tries to escape the falling acorns. They cascade together in a chaotic descent, leading Scrat into free fall along with the acorns.

A lively musical scene plays out, set to Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty Waltz, as Scrat falls through the sky collecting acorns along his descent. He creates a CGI sphere with the acorns but loses control when the sphere tips upside down.

Scrat and the acorns land hard on icy terrain after the sphere tilts upside down. During the fall, one acorn remains in the atmosphere, highlighting the chaos of the descent.

The acorn in the atmosphere crashes into Scrat on the snow-covered ground with destructive force, hitting him between the eyes like a rifle shot. The impact causes a massive earthquake that shapes the Earth's continents into their present-day formations.

The earthquake triggered by the acorn's impact is so powerful that it results in the formation of landmasses, likely Pangaea, reshaping the Earth's continents. All other acorns are carried away by the seismic upheaval, leaving Scrat stranded.

Scrat digs out the acorn that hit him, only to find it has been charred and crumbled into ash due to the extreme force of the impact. This marks a moment of disappointment and loss for Scrat.

In a moment of resignation, Scrat turns to the camera, sighs in defeat, and puts on the remaining acorn cap as a beret. The scene emphasizes his perpetual struggle and comedic resilience.
