Chief Minister Joshi approves Samar’s controversial stance, laying the groundwork for a formal Crime Control Squad under Arjun's leadership. This endorsement signals political backing for aggressive measures in the war on crime that follow.

The Crime Control Squad launches a relentless campaign against Mumbai’s gangsters and terrorists, often drawing public praise but sharp criticism from human-rights advocates. Kashinath Trivedi and Badri Tiwari oppose the crackdown while Supari pulls strings behind the scenes to shape politics.
