In the late 1970s, arms dealer David Swansey is portrayed as a skilled trader who keeps the Rhodesian Security Forces supplied through black-market channels despite an international embargo. Swansey's latest assignment targets surplus Bell UH-1 helicopters. He secures the purchase through an auction at a United States Air Force base in West Germany, moving the deal through covert channels. The procurement marks the turning point toward a major arms shipment for Rhodesia.
