In Bangkok, Thailand, Gou Fei’s friend Sam Sei borrows money from a ruthless loan shark to ensure a proper burial for Gou Fei’s late mother. The Loanshark Hung kidnaps Sam, and Gou Fei confronts him, persuading him to grant more time for repayment. Hung refuses and orders his henchmen to kill Sam, prompting Gou Fei to punch two of them and then engage in a knife battle with the remaining assailants. When Hung tries to shoot Gou Fei, Gou Fei wrestles the gun away, frees a trapped Sam, and the two make their escape. Not willing to admit defeat, Hung swears to finish them off, so Gou Fei and Sam flee the city.
To earn money, the pair teams up with Sam’s cousin, Judge, for a daring heist. The group comes together, but tempers flare when Gou Fei makes a cutting remark about Lau Ngang, triggering a fight between Gou Fei’s ally Chung and Psycho Psycho. After the initial meeting, Judge is offered cash by Hung to kill Gou Fei and Sam during the job.
The heist begins with Gou Fei blocking traffic as Lau Ngang tosses a grenade into an irate driver’s car, causing a fatal explosion. The plan targets a lorry, and the group shoots the passengers in cold pursuit. Psycho boards the truck but ejects Chung, preventing him from boarding. The heist seems successful until Judge betrays Gou Fei, attempting to kill him but instead killing Chung. A car chase erupts, ending when Gou Fei flips his car upside down. Judge surveys the wreckage only to be ambushed by Gou Fei. In the ensuing clash, Judge slices Gou Fei’s right finger and thumb, but a local resident interrupts with a warning shot to make them leave.
The stolen truck, now in the hands of Lau Ngang and Psycho, rakes the house with bullets, killing everyone inside except a young girl. Gou Fei hides while Sam Sei reappears with a gun, intending to kill Gou Fei (carried out on Judge’s orders) and fires a shot at Gou Fei’s chest, then continues firing at the floor. Sam Sei walks away with bloodied eyes to prove that he has “killed” Gou Fei, a claim inspired by Judge’s earlier jibe about Gou Fei’s eyes. Convinced, Sam Sei shoots a pressure cooker, causing an explosion that burns the resident and the girl who was left inside.
Presumed dead, Gou Fei returns to the city to discover Sam Has become a capable gangster. Seeking revenge, Gou Fei steals the gun shipment that Judge hoped to sell and buys time by returning the money to cover the hospital-bound girl’s injuries from the firefight. The two reunite, and Gou Fei methodically eliminates all of Judge’s cohorts, Psycho included. Judge hands over the money and asks for the guns, but Gou Fei detonates the goods instead, much to Judge’s dismay. The two exchange gunfire, and Gou Fei gains the upper hand by hurling a butterfly knife at Judge. In the final confrontation, Gou Fei defeats Judge and delivers a brutal quip.
