As chaos envelops rural Texas, B.J. surprises his friends, Bobby and Sue, with an impulsive plan to indulge one last time before they head off to college. Little do they know that this unplanned adventure will trigger a series of events that will irreversibly change their lives.

B.J.’s impulsive actions take a darker turn when he reveals to Bobby that the $20,000 they have taken belongs to Giff (Mark Pellegrino), a merciless local mobster who holds them in his thrall. Upon arriving at work, the friends are confronted with horrific evidence of Giff’s brutality: he has viciously attacked his Mexican security guard, igniting Bobby’s unease at the sudden surge of violence around them.

In a desperate measure to distract from their own misdeeds, Bobby admits to the theft, but this quickly snowballs into further disorder. The trio’s panic escalates as they are compelled to dispose of a lifeless body, with Bobby lamenting the needless loss of life, while B.J. chastises him for dragging them into this world of lies and treachery.

In a panic, they rush back to find that B.J. and Giff have devised a nefarious scheme to pin the murders on them. As their world unravels, Bobby and Sue are left grappling with the question of whether they can escape the treacherous fate awaiting them or if they are destined to remain caught in this relentless cycle of brutality and betrayal.

In a shocking twist, B.J. incredulously denies Giff’s involvement in the grotesque killings, prompting Giff to swiftly exact revenge by shooting him. Undeterred, Sue and Bobby make a frantic escape attempt, with Sue cunningly telling Giff that she has warned Big Red about their predicament—a hollow bluff dismissed by Giff. As their perilous flight leads them through the twisting corridors of the cotton mill, they manage to outsmart Giff momentarily, only to face him once again atop precarious rafters.

With Bobby’s bravery beginning to wane, Giff taunts him cruelly, suggesting that his impending death would free him from the shame of being abandoned by Sue for someone more sophisticated. Fueled by anger, Bobby charges at Giff, and their struggle sends them crashing down. Just then, Big Red arrives on the scene, allowing Sue and the injured Bobby a chance to escape, while they declare their unwavering love for one another. Giff, unwilling to reveal the location of Red’s missing fortune, finds his obstinacy leads to a violent end, as Big Red punishes him without mercy.
